I often get asked on social media what treats I give my dog. Because let's be honest, a healthy diet is so important! The healthier we and our dogs eat, the better and healthier we and our dogs live.

There is now such a large selection of food and snacks in the pet trade that it is hard to know what is really good. Much of it looks very healthy at first glance, but if you read the composition, the whole thing looks different. Often the treats you buy are not suitable for allergy sufferers, have hidden additives and are full of chemicals. If you do find high-quality treats, they are usually very expensive and not everyone can or wants to afford them.

At some point, it was clear to me that my dog would only be fed homemade "BARF" food and homemade snacks. His health is more than important to me and as the saying goes: "You are what you eat!". This also applies to our furry friends!

As a budding nutritionist for dogs and cats, I came up with the idea of writing a recipe book for treats. Not just any recipes, but really high-quality and well thought-out recipes. Recipes with a low grain content and without any additives.
